Rabia Sattar holds the position of COO Pakistan & Head of Legal and is based in the Karachi (Pakistan) office of j. awan & partners.
Experience:
Rabia brings more than 10 years of extensive experience in corporate & legal affairs. She has worked as general counsel & head of compliance at a Y-Combinator (YC) and Stripe backed fintech company in Pakistan. Further, she has advised clients on matters related to intellectual property law, specifically the registration of trademarks and copyrights. In addition, she has served as legal counsel and company secretary of Pakistan’s largest independent power producer, Hubco, and as manager legal & corporate affairs for Ogilvy & Mather Pakistan.
Qualifications:
Rabia holds a bachelor’s degree in law from the University of London; a master’s degree in law from SOAS, University of London, and is a Barrister from the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn, London, United Kingdom. She is also an advocate of the High Courts of Pakistan.
