Dapo holds the position of Deputy CEO & Partner and leads the Consulting Practice of j. awan & partners.
Dapo brings to the firm his considerable experience gained over a successful 25-year international career in financial services. His experience includes 15 years in risk and compliance roles, working as a lead supervisor at the retail firm’s division of the UK regulator, the Financial Services Authority (now FCA) and various leadership roles. Dapo has successfully delivered several mandates across two leading financial institutions (UBS Investment Bank and Lloyds Bank), including Investment Banking Trade Surveillance programmes, and being the EMEA Employee Compliance Lead responsible for managing Employee Conflicts of Interest and was an Executive Director overseeing the Conduct Risk Change program.
Dapo is an Associate Member of the Professional Risk Managers International Association (PRMIA), holds a BSc (Hons) & MSc (Hons) Economics (Obafemi Awolowo University) and an MBA in Leadership & Customer Focus Strategy (Imperial College Business School, London).
